SATA Drive – HP Midline Hard Drive 500 GB

To fulfill and satisfy the consumer’s needs of SATA drive that providing an efficient results of performance, cost, capacity, reliability, error management and scalability, the HP (Hewlett-Packard’s) creating a SATA drive called The HP Midline Hard Drive.  This SATA Drive has dimension 9 x 7 x 5.5 inches and weight 1.1 pounds this dimension is 2.5” Hard Drive, the capacity of this SATA Drive is 500 GB with SATA interface and has spindle speed 7200 Rpm.

We all know that we are living in an unfriendly environment with a lot of risk in it, so the HP creating this SATA drives with rotational vibration sensors features. This is a very useful feature because it can accommodate the environmental stresses in the external storage solution and multi-drive storage solutions. To make sure this features is reliable, this features also has been designed and optimized to minimize the installation time and down time, has been tested in the harsh and extreme conditions. The HP Midline Hard Drive is support for applications enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM).

Not only has an SATA interface, the HP Midline Hard Drive also completed with SAS interface option with dual port of connectivity that can increase the reliability of the data center continuity. SCSI specification is the base of the SAS interface. The great thing of having mix SATA drives or SAS drives in the same box is that if the user storage needs change, they will not need to change the entire infrastructures; they only needs to comfortably transition between the technologies.

SAS architecture facilitates and accommodates the designers to install SATA drives/SAS drives or mixture of both SAS and SATA in same box. Therefore, if the user’s storage needs change, they do not need to upgrade their entire infrastructure and they just can comfortably transition between the technologies.
