Computer hard drive is a storage place for data on the computer. Computer hard drive is usually defined as Hard Disk Drive that located in the CPU, or often referred to as the Fixed Drive. Formerly a computer Hard Drive is a magnetic drum, but right now it is a Hard Disk Drive. Because of advances in technology which is very fast, Hard Disk Drive which now has greater capacity and more small size. A physical hard drive has a construction consisting of a metal disk coated on both sides with a special magnetic material, usually a complex oxide of iron, the small particles that can be magnetically oriented to represent the bit (this is a basic unit of computer memory) and is equivalent to switch, between on or off.

Data on the HDD is set in concentric tracks, which have a microscopic size. Each Track is divided into sectors. Boot record is also written to the disk during the format, which is the information on how to format the disk and built.

Select the hard disk drive that still has a sticker seal still intact. Because usually when the manufacturer’s sticker seal was broken then the hard disk is used in the overhaul. Rocking hard disk drive close to the ear, if the voice sounded weird do not purchase it. That marks the hard disk has been damaged.
3. Note the capacity and speed.
Select the capacity of hard disk drive in accordance with your wishes. And note the speed. Choose a hard disk with a lap speed of 7200 Rpm (for now). Because of the higher Rpm akan faster loading.
