How do You Know that Your FaceBook Account Has Been Hacked

My friend tell me that his FaceBook account has been hacked by someone and then I ask him how do you know that your FaceBook account has been hacked because i see (with him) that there is nothing change with his FaceBook account. After that he tells me why he knows that his FaceBook account has been hacked.

There are some ways to know your FaceBook account has been hacked and one of them is by knowing what kind of browser that access your FaceBook account. FaceBook has provided a tool to see your account session. With this tool you will easy know that there is someone accessing your account without your permissions.

You see that sometimes this can be happen, because someone know your password or you forget to log out from your FaceBook account when you accessing it at the public computer. To see your account session is very easy.

Login to your account and then go to the “Account Setting” menu (usually at corner up right).
The “Account Setting” menu will open and then you must go to the “Security” menu (usually at the left side).
Go to the “Active Sessions”, after you open this menu you will see details about date, locations and devices that use to open your account. With this you will know that active devices are your devices or not. The weakness of this tool is that the IP address is not always correct, but with this tool you can remember the time when you access your account.
Erase all the session by click “End Activity” at the right of every session.

You are also able to Increase your FaceBook account security by deleting all the devices that has been use to open your account that you do not recognize. To do this step you must go back to the Security page and then choose “Recognized Device” that consist list of the devices that has been use to open your account.

Social network is fun but you are still need very good computer protections for it to keep your account save.
