Z-Drive R2 is a solid state drive that made by OCZ technology and it will be go mass production. This solid state drive is a PCI-E product, that came from the present solution, but has better performance and more flexible design with optimal implementation at NAND module.

The Z-Drive R2 PCI-E Solid State Drive has three models and the first is The Z-Drive R2 PCI-E Solid State Drive p88 with capacity 1 TB – 2 TB and has ability to read 1400 MB/s and write 1400 MB/s. The second model is The Z-Drive R2 PCI-E Solid State Drive p84 with capacity 258GB – 1 TB and has ability to read 850 MB/s and write 800 MB/s. and the third is The Z-Drive R2 PCI-E Solid State Drive m84 with capacity 258 GB – 1 TB and has ability to read 800 MB/s and write 750 MB/s.

The Z-Drive R2 PCI-E Solid State Drive is capable to maximize the bandwidth with minimizing SATA obstacle and using the benefit of transfer speed from PCI express interface. The Z-Drive R2 PCI-E Solid State Drive is capable to create possibility of new thing in company data management and answer the high performance demand from SANs (Storage Area Networks), workstations and server.

The Z-Drive R2 PCI-E Solid State Drive will be a great solution for SANs (Storage Area Networks), workstation and server. I do not know the price yet, but I hope this Z-Drive R2 PCI-E Solid State Drive product will soon come to the market so we all can feel and test this great product.
