Adapter for USB 2.0 to IDE SATA Hard Disk, 2.5 inch IDE HDD / 3.5 inch IDE HDD and CDROM

In your mobile life you want to carry your data every where you go and creating backup any time you want. To have an External storage is very expensive you need to have more money. Internal storage is cheaper than External storage. Internal storage placed in your computer, you need to open the case to make this internal storage out from the computer. You will hassle with this process. But you can use Hard Drive enclosure to make your internal Hard Drive become an External Hard Drive.

If you have upgrade your storage computer into bigger capacity and better performance, you will not use your old 2.5 inch IDE HDD or maybe your old 3.5 inch IDE HDD again. If you still have that old IDE HDD and still in good condition, you still can use it. You change your old IDE HDD in to External Hard Drive. There are two options to do this, you can use the Hard Drive enclosure to make your internal Hard Drive become an External Hard Drive or you can use adapter for USB 2.0 to IDE SATA. This adapter can connect 2.5 inch or 3.5 Inch IDE HDD or CDROM to computer by using USB 2.0 interface.

USB Disk Driver

The USB 2.0 to IDE SATA adapter is very easy to use, it is plug & play device and easy to connect to the IDE device or SATA device and make your hard disk device more portable. The adapter is support for SATA Hard Disk / ATA/ATAPI CD-ROM/R/RW DVD-ROM (based on ATAPI spec.). The transfer rate for USB 2.0 is up to 480 Mbps, but this transfer rate speed is limited and depending on IDE or SATA device and the driver. Also you can connect the adapter in to USB 1.0 but you will not get the best performance for this adapter.

External power adapter is used to give power to the 5V/12V IDE/ATAPI devices so the device can work properly. This USB 2.0 to IDE SATA adapter is very light the weight is only 2.5 pounds. Because you carry your Hard Drive by not using Hard Drive enclosure, you must be careful because something or your careless will damage your Hard Drive.
